If you have freon full and got power to the relay the you need to check the radiator fan if working if yes the a/c cut off switch should be mounted on the a/c lines if it is two wires disconnected and jump the tow wires togather by small paper clips for few seconds and start the eng put the a/c on if started working good then you have a bad switch for 3 wires switch is to replace

Kia sedona compressor clutch does not turn?

check for fuse and relay problems in the ac circuit. disconnect the wire near the ac clutch and use a test light to see if there is power there. Remember that there are 3 units that will stop the clutch from working. Low pressure switch, high pressure switch and the thermostat. Best take it to an accredited ac specialist shop for a test of the system as you may have a leak and all the gas is gone.

2002 ford mustang air conditioner stopped working. How do I locate the problem?

FIRST I CHECK ALL FUSES AND RELAY.TO BLOWER MOTOR IF IT STOP BLOWING.AND CHECK FUSE TO HVAC SWITCH CONTROL.AND CHECK FUSE / RELAY TO AC COMPRESSOR.IF FUSE / RELAY GOOD POWER GETTING TO AC COMPRESOR CLUTCH COIL AND LOW PRESSURE SIDE 28 PSI AND HIGH SIDE 200 PSI. CLUTCH COIL IS OPEN.IF REFRIGERANT LEVEL LOW YOU MAY NEED MORE REFRIGERANT.YOU NEED AT LEAST 28 PSI ON LOW SIDE AND 200 - 220 PSI ON HIGH SIDE.IF ALL IS GOOD STILL NO AC PROBLEM COULD BE A FAULTY AC CLUTCH CYCLING PRESSURE SWITCH.

No power to ac comp. All fuses good, ac/heater controls have power

U NEED TO CHECK FOR POWER AT LOW PRESURE SWITH AND A/C RELAY.U WONT GET POWER TO COMPRESSOR UNLESS RELAY IS WORKING AND SYSTEM THINKS THERE IS ENOUGH REFRIGERANT IN. USUALLY LOW PRESSURE SWITCH IS ON TOP OF RECEIVER DRIER.
