Nissan X Trail.....2007 model. Drove my sisters today, it wallows like crazy around corners. Has anyone fitted aftermarket mags or low profile tyres to see if it improved the ride on this vehicle ?

Tyre pressures may be a problem but the ride made me feel seasick unti lI asked to drive the car myself.

It sounds like maybe the struts are worn out. If there is severe corrosion, the springs may also be weak. A sign of this is poor dampening after going over bumps. Poor tracking around corners and on uneven roads may also be caused by worn ball joints, bent or worn control arms, poor alignment, bent rims or out of round tires. Unless it is only caused by the wheel(s) or tire(s)itself, which is unlikely, lower profile tires will likely make it even worse.

I have a Nissan Maxima 1997 model the tyres size are P205/65R15. My question is Would Kumho 352 with rims diameter "16 fits on them?

It is possible that they might work if you use avery low-profile tire on them. Take one of the wheels off of the front and place the wheel on the hub. Make sure that the bolt holes line up properly and that the center holeof the rim fits the shoulder on the hub correctly. Put a couple ug nuts on it and turn the wheel around to see if it is going to rub on the brake calipers or other components. If this is OK, then you need to choose some tires that will make the overall diameter of the tire and wheel assembly as close as possible to the overall diameter of the original tires. If your tires are too tall. they will hit the fender when you hit bumps or when you are turning. This will also affect the accuracy of your speedometer.

Will 20 inch rims with low profile rims fit on a 1994 es 300 and run good without ant problems.

As long as manufactures recommended height is maintained it shouldn't matter but if it's not than than this could affect your speedo and also make sure you have enough clearance for the turning movement.Alocal tyre or mags place should be able to calculate which size is recommended for you vehicle.

My 1994 civic dx has an ex gage cluster and the speedometer is off by 10-15 mph how would I correct this and keep the gage cluster it says my tire size should be 175 70r13 but I have 185 60r14 which is the...

okay, lets go to basics...1/.175 is the width of the tyre.2/.70 is the profile(that is 70mm from the wheel rim to the road).3/.13 is the width of the wheel rim.
So,you have 185(wider tread)60 (lower profile)14"(bigger wheels).you need to fit 35 profile tyres to get close to the same rolling radius to correct the speedo, the ride will be harder and the tyres are much more expensive, alternatively fit 13" wheels/tyres.
70/13 radius is the same circumferance as 45/14(25mm thinner).
simply put,if you measure the original wheel, road to top of tyre, then measure the ones fitted you are an inch to tall or 3.1/2" more around (approximately)please leave feedback...ta
