Question about 1995 Volvo 960
Mine are not stuck per se, but will only try to operate one side. I assume this is cable failure. Do your motors try to move the seat or just sit there dead?? I haven't found a way to manually adjust the seats. Is there a way??
It is a cable problem. I had the same problem with my 960- only one side of the seat was moving. I took the seat out and pulled the cable and put it back -it solved the problem

There is not a way to manually adjust the seats, and in order to repair your stated issue, I will agree with you, it sounds like a cable issue. problem is, you have to time the cables, so that they will not continue to operate in a twisted state.
