Battery could be so weak that the car may not even stay running. Check the integrity of the battery.
If it has a charge, make sure it holds the charge under load as well. These are 2 different scenarios.

Perhaps it ran, but the positive and negative cables may be very loose on the battery posts or even corroded, so no contact is being made.

Also check to make sure the alternator is putting out charge to the battery. This may be why the battery was zapped of its charge.

All the things you mentioned being dead rely on a good strong battery to open the locks...start the car...etc.

Try charging your battery with a battery charger and make sure its totally full of charge and try to start the car.

Hope this helps

1998 buick regal LS 3.8 engine dies wont turn over and stuck in park.

Well , first off being stuck in gear, there probably is a problem with
The park lock solenoid prevents shifting out of the PARK position when the ignition switch is in LOCK, ACC, or OFF. The Brake Transmission Shift Interlock (BTSI) is designed to prevent shifting out of PARK when the ignition switch is in the RUN, BULB TEST, or START position, without pressing the brake pedal. The BTSI solenoid and the park lock solenoid are energized when the ignition switch is in the RUN, BULB TEST, or START position. When the park lock solenoid and the Brake Transmission Shift Interlock (BTSI) are energized, the mechanical lock connected to this park lock solenoid is pulled away from the shifter. The stop lamp switch receives ignition voltage in the RUN, BULB TEST, or START position from the BTSI Fuse and is normally closed, providing voltage through circuit 1135 to the BTSI solenoid, energizing the solenoid and mechanically locking the transmission shift lever whenever it is in PARK. When the brake pedal is pressed, the stop lamp switch opens, removing voltage from circuit 1135 to the BTSI solenoid. The BTSI solenoid is de-energized and the mechanical lock connected to the BTSI solenoid pulls back from the shifter allowing shifting.

You would do well to buy a service repair manual subscription from ALLDATA OEM Auto Repair Information for Professionals you have no idea of the complexity of the electronics on your vehicle . You will need wiring diagrams to sort out your electrical issues , suggest you watch videos on youtube for voltage drop testing . if your dad doesn't know electrical testing .

I have a friend who had a Jeep with power lock issues. We ended up replacing all the power lock actuators, one at a time over a period of two years.Put one in, all is good, another one dies.make sure you have SWITCHING power and ground, not just power. If you do, plan on an actuator. The power locks usually made a squeal or chirping noise before they died...

2005 chrysler sebring start then dies right

i bought a 2005 sebring and they gave me 2 keys. one grey and thick. the other black and less heavy. the black one will start the car but as soon as i take it out of park it dies. the grey key has a chip in it that sends a signal to the engine. The black one doesn't. it is more like a back up key so that if you lock your other key in the car and it also unlocks doors and trunk.

You may want to check the wiring harness in the door jam. Those comonly break the wires and cause issues with windows, door locks and other things. The harness boot can be pulled back to inspect. It is a little difficult to put back. If your locks usually lock when put into gear then that is not factory. Factory auto lock does that at 17 MPH

The turning over without the starts; my car does the same thing. I would just keep trying and eventually it would run. Well, I was told it could either be a bad ignition coil, or maybe an oxygen sensor going bad. A tune up might help too. Does this happen after rainy weather? It could be a crack that's allowing moisture in the ignition parts.

Not sure about the windows, sounds like an electrical problem. Check the fuses yet? It might be a bad solenoid switch in the doors. My passenger side door lock never opens with the auto unlock, but it does lock. I have to manually unlock it. I've just been too lazy to replace the part. The strange thing is that in the 2 years I've had it, it automatically opened ONE TIME out of the blue, but then the problem came back.
