I changed the battery in my remote entry for my 2001 Taurus and It still doesn't work. Do I need to program? or maybe it's a fuse?

No Programing Need after Battery Change and the Pre-Existing Problem is Probably the issue.
And that Can Be that it "Needed" RE-Programed and you Would See A Dealership for this, The FEE Varies but Above $50.00 is Exessive as it Only Takes 1/2 Hour to Re-program the FOB.
Hope this is of HELP to You.

Every time you change the battery on them they have to be programmed. It's a ford thing. If you don't know how just post on here and I will tell you.

Yes the key Fob is likely in need of programming. You can do it at home with the instructions at the link below. If that fails time for the dealer to look into this problem. Acura CL 2001 Keyless Entry Remote Fob Programming Instructions

My keyless entry on Toyota avalon 2001 stopped funtioning.non of the doors is working with remote. My car is showing check light and VSC/VSC OFF on dash board, the code is 0420. pls help me out

Have the remote checked. Remotes have batteries and will eventually go bad. In the worst case, you may need to buy a new remote and have it programmed.

My keyless entry pad stopped working replaced the battery and still will not work. I have a 2001 ford taurus ses. how do i resolve this problem by reprogramming the keyless entry pad? I tried the code lock...

Try it with a new remote pad, turn the key back and forth untill the locks jump up and down.. do it slowly , when they jump make sure to leave the key in the on position while pressing both lock and unlock buttons on the remote, they should then jump again telling you that the remote is now programed.

Keyless entry has stopped working. Battery is replaced but still no remote operation of the doors or trunk.

The keyless entry matches to the module for it that is mounted under the dash. It may have gone bad since your remote will not function. Of course it could be your remote as well that went bad

THE BATTERIES WERE DEAD IN REMOTE FOR KEYLESS-ENTRY

This works on the older troopers min is a 95 giv it try
A-Open the driver’s door.
B-Insert key into ignition.
C-Turn the ignition switch to the ACC position and then to the LOCK position three times. (This step must be completed within 3 seconds – go as fast as you can, or the system will not enter the programming mode.)
D- Within 10 seconds, close and open the door two times.
E-Turn the ignition switch to the ACC position and then to the LOCK position three times (again, do this within 3 seconds.)
F-Within 10 seconds, close and open the door. Verify that the power door locks cycle once to confirm that the system is in programming mode.
G-Within 20 seconds, press the LOCK button on the transmitter you are programming. Verify that the door locks cycle once.
H-Within 20 seconds, press the UNLOCK button on the transmitter. Verify that the door locks cycle once to confirm that the system has accepted the transmitter’s code.
I-Repeat steps 7 and 8 for each transmitter to be added. Remove key from ignition.
