Check the tire pressures in ALL tires not just the 4 on the ground but the sapre also. If the pressures are all correct and the light is still on you may need to take it to a tire store such as good year or firestone or eve you local dealr to have the tpms SYSTEM checked out, (TPMS Tire Pressure Monitoring System)

I have a 2008 mitsubishi galant and i have a horse shoe shaped light with an exclamation point in the middle on on my dash board....what does this light mean?

Does it look like the one toward the bottom of this page?
I'm pretty sure that is a tire pressure warning light. You can find a key for this in the owners manual if you have it still.

I cant figure out how to turn off the Tire Pressure Monitoring System light on my 2009 Galant

Most of the time you have to put air in the tires up to 35psi and it will automaticly turn off. Also be sure it is not an actual problem with the system as well

I have recently change tires on a Mitsubishi Montero 2006, After changing the tire, the tire pressure signal turned on. We defaltedd the tires, check everithing else an the problem still persists.

Bad or dirty valve stem pressure sensor. You can reset the sensor by disconnecting Battery and then wait 90 secs and reconnect. that will set computer to reset. If the valve sensor still may be dirty or gone bad. in that case the sensor will need to be replaced.

Red Set button underneath the steering wheel

I believe this is for your tire pressure sensors. If the tire pressure in one of your tires drops it will alert you with a light on your dash. When tire pressure is restored, press this button to reset the sensor.
