Question about 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 Club Cab
97 Ram 1500 1/2 ton 4wd 5.2 liter runs a little rough and feels like its not getting enough fuel and will actually backfire when I push it. it only does this when the engine is cold, runs perfect as soon as it warms up.
This is probably one of four things or a combo thereof...dirty fuel injectors, cracked distributor tower/burned points (if it's not electronic ignition), burned valves or air/gas flow sensor if it's computer controlled (the chip is likely bad).
