Question about 2005 Saturn ION
I drove through a construction area and debri in the road tore a hole in the oil pan and all the oil then leaked out of car. I did not drive the car wthout oil so no damage was done there but the pan now needs to be replaced wondering what a reasonable cost for repair would be.
I would say less than $200. It is just 12-14 bolts to removed, pan dropped, new gasket, reinstall and fill with oil

Tips for a great answer:
unfortunately theres no way to prove where the damage was done. maybe you can work something out with the garage to get you a cheap oil pan
