Question about 1996 Lincoln Continental
Hello, I have a 1997 Range Rover and I just replaced the Master Window Switch in middle console because none of the windows were working. After replacing, now all windows go up and down besides the drivers side, which goes down but not up. I do not hear any clicking. Would this be a regulator or window motor? Thanks for the help.
There may be another relay in the drivers door for the automatic touch feature. If you also have a switch on the drivers door follow the wires down to this second relay. If you don't have a second relay then try to jump the wires at the door to power the motor in both directions. If you can do that, the door switch is bad on the "up" terminal.
The regulator can be broken and you can see that with the door panel off. The motor terminals may have corrosion and you can probably reach that plug with the door panel off.
