Question about Volvo XC70

Air conditiong will not turn off. The blower

Air conditiong will not turn off. The blower stays on even if I switch it to off. When it is in the off Position air still comes out like it is on high speed but it is not cold. If I switch it to the on position the air turns cold. I cannot get the air to stop blowing unless I turn the car off

My Nissan Almera 2005 Model keeps blowing heat even when the switch is off. now when l turn on the aircon hot air is mixing with cold air. Could it be the blower resister?

Could be the diverter paddle control that moves to allow cold air or hot air into the duct. It may be staying in the heat position even when you set the control to cool.

Temp control on cold, but, only blowing hot air and the blower switch stays on high all the time, even if you try and surn to a lower spped or off, still blowing, what is the problem?

as far as the fan goes thats a reley switch and if you have it on cold and it blows hot air it sounds like the door that alows it to change from hot to cold is stuck that happens alot

Air conditiong and heater controls just stopped working

So let me get this straight. You have no a/c and heat correct? Does the blower motor work? If it doesn't its your problem. get back to me and let me know what happens when you turn a/c on and heater on does blower work?

2001 dodge 4whd AT, air conditiong does not cool.

If AC under hood gets cold then it could be the damper motor or the shaft it drives has split a common problem.

Air conditioning blower stays on at all times.

Per your description, I believe you may have a blower fan relay that is stuck closed.
Remove the relay from the under-hood fuse center and see if the fan stops.
If it does stop, put the relay in slowly and see if you here the relay "click" and the fan come back on.
Let me know.

1985 Volvo 244 Air Conditiong Blows fuse when turned on. Can't find wiring diagram for this section to check wiring. Any solutions to this problem?

You say blows fuse,
Are you talking about the Blower Fan, or the Thermistat for the Compressor.
If it is the Blower Fan It may be seized as the Blower Fan motor doesn't have bearings it has a bronze bush & may be stuck. I had this fault on my 76 244DL.
I had to dismantle the whole dash pull the Blower Fan apart re grease the bush & give it a clean & re assemble. It took me allll day to pull the dash apart fix the Blower Fan motor & reasemble It works perfect now like new.

If it is the Thermistat disconnct the wire to the compressor & try a jumper wire to the compressor to see if the compressor operates. if ok it could be a damaged wire through the firewall shorting somewhere. You will have to buzz out the wires from thermistat down to the compressor & the throttle up solonoid.
