Question about 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
A/C switches from cold to hot air intermittenly while driving. Have checked drain, not plugged. Seems to help to stop, turn off engine and then turn back on, but doesn't always solve the problem. Also seems that we have to get up to at least 60 miles an hour to get the cold air to start again.
This is clear that your aux fan cooling your condensor is not working ,your a/c system is overheating and with speed you are forcing air through your condensor doing the job of the fan.
