I had the same problem spent lots of $ replacing all kinds of parts and nothing helped. Finally broke down and took it into a shop.......tuned out to be a loose electrical connection. $10 to fix! Never had the problem again

Do i need to relearn the tps on a 1999 vw jetta

Unhook battery, press brakes to de-power everything. Leave unhooked for half hour or more.

Re-connect the battery. Turn key to on position. Do not start the car... just to on. Don't touch the gas pedal at all. Leave for ~10-20min.

Turn key straight to start and start the car. Do not touch the gas pedal. Let idle for ~10min without touching anything.

Turn off car. Restart, drive. It might take a few heat cycles and a bit of driving before the ECU 'learns' everything over again.

When does the overdirve need to be turned on

Usually the overdrive should just be left on. It should only come into play when you are at high speeds above 50mph. This is essentially your "5th Gear" and should increase fuel economy. If you leave the overdrive "OFF" on the highway your engine RPM will be higher causing the fuel economy to suffer.

I have a 91 honda accord and when I start to drive it drives really good but after driving about 2 miles it seems like its losing power and then starts to sputter and drive really rigid n hard, can u

could be a lambda sensor or coolant sensor, it could also be the ignition coil hall sensor (distributor) or MAF sensor. Coolant sensors are the cheapest but my money would be on the lambda sensor

2001 jeep wrangler hesitating and stalling out...feels like it is not getting any gas and is running very rich

take it to an accredited service center and have the fault codes read
guessing just costs money and seldom fixes the fault
