Whan can I do if the vehicle alarm goes off and hunks a couple times a day on its own with no one touching the car?

First we would need to know if it is a factory alarm or something you installed after purchasing the vehicle. Or if the alarm is an aftermarket alarm installed before you bought the vehicle. Assuming that it is an after market alarm, the sensitivity is set too high. They are usually installed under the dash by the driver side kick panel. Find the box (black color) find the slot with the plus and minutes on it and turn the dial to at the most medium. If it is a factory alarm, you might have a faulty alarm module or somebody is messing with your car Just for kicks.

2006 Ford Taurus air bag light on control panel blinks several times then stays on all the time while driving. There is no alarm going off though. Does that mean my airbags are not working?

yes it means your airbags are not working. you need to have it put on ford spec diagnostic equipment at your local ford dealer to have it repaired. some small shops may be able to do it, just depends on if they have the right diag equipment.

you can get a replacement at your local Toyota dealer. But in the me time you can remove the fuse to disable your alarm. Some vehicles have the fuse mounted in the engine compartment and some are inside the car.Look in the owner manual for exact fuse and location. If you need more info write back and I will further assist you Thank you.

Most likely there is a wheel speed sensor that is throwing an erratic signal and making the system think you have lost traction, the system may have a trouble code stored, have it tested by your local Ford dealer to verify the trounle code.
