Air conditioner suddenly stops blowing cold and starts blowing heated air. Control panel indicates that it is still on air conditioner. Switching the control from vent to cold does not have any effect. ...

If you are absolutely confident the AC compressor is not kicking out on low pressure then it is the blend door actuator.

The blend door determines how much air blows through the heater core or evaporator.

The actuator can be purchased at dealer and maybe at a local part store.

hello milford,

i don't think you can eliminate your problem, the door lock feature is being run by a single module and all doors are connected to it in parallel

so i you want that only the driver's side door would unlock as you put it in park, then you would isolate the rest of the doors to the module but will in turn not controll the rest for locking puposes.

you can not have both features. either control one door or controll all doors.

its your choice.

tnx for using fixya.

Poppin fuel pump fuse sometimes

If you're blowing the fuse to the fuel pump, then you have a short either in the pump itself or in the electrical wiring going to the pump. When you make the left turn, a bare wire could be hitting the frame rail or some other metal surface and causing the short. I would trace the electrical wires from the engine compartment all the way back to the pump to see if that is the case, if it's the pump itself, I'd go buy a new one. You should be able to get a Master brand pump for $100 or less instead of buying a more expensive dodge pump that you don't really need.

Ac not turning on

If the system was overcharged, a protective switch may be preventing the turnon of it and the possible rupture of a line or damage to the compressor.

A charging kit with a gauge is a worthwhile piece to have around even if the gauges aren't all too accurate.

If you are in the US, NAPA may have them in stock; ours did.
If your system is leaking, you need a special detector to find it or the injection of a special-pupose color dye that will show any cracks or leaks in the system.
