Front tire clicking noise?

Take the car to a trusted tire store and have them dismount the tire on that wheel to look for an embedded rock or metal piece in the tread area. It may not show itself from the outside due to lack of weight on the area of interest, but an internal inspection may show it up. Try putting the spare wheel on to see if the sound goes away. Hope this helps!

VOLVO s90 1997 clicking noise from wheel area

If it happens only on turns then its the outer axle cv joint.. If it happens all the time probably something stuck in a tire. Either way have the suspension visually inspected by a technician as soon as possible.

Knoking sound wile driveing it comes and goes

is it more from the front or back of the car ?? over bumps ?? while acelerating or braking ??

on the top of the front struts there's a rubber bushing called the "upper strut mount" this is a commonly replaced item. Also the sway bar bushings are frequently replaced. or, it could be something totally different..... gremlins ??

it is almost impossible to solve without hearing it in person, but some things to check are the front brakes, front wheel bearings, tires, and loose suspension parts.

94 4Runner 4WD Question

1. I would suggest that you engage your 4WD while you are in full stop and/or safe range of 5mph, however as claimed by the local dealers your vehicle is capable of engaging even while driving. Engage your 4WD while moving only when necessity requires.
2. That clicking noise while turning extreme right or left would be the birfield of your axle and would only mean your front hub is still engage even though you have disengaged transfer case.
Have your front hubs cleaned of old lubricants or grease due to non usage. dont use grease as lubricants, use thick oil such as gear oil or silicone oil. and use your 4WD every now and then.

Do this first then check if you still feel somtehing is loose on your suspension and others.
