Really not enough information (what vehicle? what "box"?). However, the most common problem with flickering light bulbs is a poor contact with the receptacle at the base of the bulb, or a faulty bulb.

Exterior lighting flickering on and off

Are all the lights flickering? Might be a fuse. Might also be a short.
After checking/replacing fuses, grab a friend and multimeter (or the cheap 12V gages that have a light).
Press the brakes, turn on the lights, etc and put the gages to the appropriate terminals on the lights (if you turn the lights on, put the meter on the terminals of the light, if you're checking the brake, put the meter on the brakes). You should see ~12V (or the light turn on) on each of them, if you see something significantly more or less, there is a short somewhere. Test different wires and try to triangulate the problem area.

Frontier ac problem

Hi I just repaired this same problem, It was tough to diagnose. The failed part is the cabin blower motor resistor unit below the glove box. I had ac and recirc lights flickering and the ac compressor going on and off with the flicker.
Hope this helps
