Wiring diagrams for 2005 Chrysler Sebring power mirror switch

I need the wiring diagram with colors and pinouts for the power mirror switch, and power mirrors themselves, found in a 2005 Chrysler Sebring. It's for a different application, and other years may apply, but I'm sure (verified by part number) the switch is from at least an 05 Sebring

Wiring diagram or color code for 2005 Chevrolet Silverado for the side mirrors

My power mirrors on my 2012 Chevy Malibu and I found the fuse for it which was blown. I replaced it and went to use the mirrors again and the fuse blew again. What is the problem?

You have a short in the wiring of that fused circuit, or less likely that one of the mirror motors has a short. A short is an unintended path to ground, like an exposed wire touching body metal, or an internal motor failure. If that fuse is only for the mirrors and nothing else, it will be easier to find. A likely place will be in the door openings where the wires can get stretched and chafed. Pull the protective boot away from the wires where they enter the door, and check carefully. You may need to get to the mirror motors and to the switch for them. If everything looks okay, better get a multi-meter to check sections of the wires for continuity. A wiring diagram will be needed to find the right color wires that you will be looking for. I am guessing that each motor will have 4 wires to it, 2 for side to side, and 2 for up and down. These 4 wires will come from the switch on the driver's door that operates them. Power travels from the fuse to the switch, and then to the mirrors, as the switch operates them. The ground wire for the mirrors will originate at the switch, or it may be a shared common ground at the driver's master switch for the mirrors and the power windows. The short may be in any of these wires, or in the switch (evident at the connector to the switch as melted plastic, perhaps), or a short in one of the mirror motors. Good luck and good hunting.

2007 Chrysler Sebring, knocked the drivers side mirror off backing out of my garage. Is it easy to install or need to take to the dealership?

This is not hard to replace at all, most of the time the door panel doesnt have to be removed , just the small cover behind the mirror inside the door, the only problem is you must paint the mirror to match the car if its painted, i replace and paint mirrors all the time, buy one online and you will pay about 30.00 for it, heres a picture of it and you will not need to remove the door panel just the small cover that covers the mirroe nuts, the wire plugs in to back of the mirror, this is easy to do,make sure when looking for mirror you get what you have like if its heated or power. heres a picyure of your mirror good luck, and good day.johnjohn2_88.jpg

Electric mirrors on my 2008 sebring want work

Broken wires thru' door to passenger compartment---blown fuse--wires to mirrors broken---bad ground or switch. Check one at a time--try turning on key--have someone swing doors while holding mirror switch on if it works a bit--it's the wires going thru' the door to fusebox. check fuse next . Have garage fix or check ground & switch.

Need to know what color 12 volt supply

My manual for a 99 300M shows two sources of 12 volt power to the mirror positioning switch, One is from the battery, switch terminal 11 wire M1, PK (pink). The other is from the start-run 12 volt line, switch terminal 5, wire G5 DB/WT (dark blue, white stripe). If you send me your email address to af6im at arrl dot net I can send you a scanned copy of the diagram.

Color code 91 Buick Electra

Colors will be the same on both ends ( the switch and the mirrors . Unfortunately both left and right mirrors have the same wiring colors. Check electical flow through the mirror switch so as to know which wire controls left mirror and which wire controls right mirror, to insure you don't re-wire in error . Hope this helps
