Clutch pedal diagram

go to the wreckers and get all the parts out of a manual cab the same as yours . You will need a clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder as well as the piping from one to the other ( get new master/ slave cylinder as it will reduce the possibility of hydraulic problems . If it is going to be a cable clutch then get everything associated with a cable including the correct throw out lever in the bell housing.

I have a 2001 Ford Mustang, v6 3.8 5 speed manual

The clutch is not fully releasing. You can try putting it into some other gear first, then rapidly moving to first gear, but really, you need to either adjust the clutch, or get it repaired.

04 toyota corlla 5 speed

If there is only one click when you go into first or reverse. Then look at the linkage on the clutch pedal. If you push the clutch pedal down and up (without putting it into gear) does it still make the click sound? Is the transmission going into gear normal? Is the throw-out bearing making any noise? A throw-out bearing can make a loud click noise.

Clutch pedle stays down.

Hello;
It sounds as the pressure plate diaphragm has given up on you. From the sounds of your post, you will need to replace the clutch assembly. Also check the clutch cable for binding and chaffing. Hope this helps and rate me high.
Thanks;

Clutch pedle stays down

if you have a hydralic clutch usually the pedal staying on the floor indicates air in the clutch lines. if so check 4 leaks at the filler and at the slave cylinder. however just bleeding the clutch system may temporarily fix your issue
