In order to change the brushes inside the blower motor, it needs to be removed and taken apart. The problem with changing them is that often the armature is worn and the shaft bearings are bad, making a brush replacement a temporary repair at best. The other item worth noting is that you likely will have difficulty locating any new brushes or bearings unless you live near an electric motor rebuilding shop. Perhaps the best option for you is to get a rebuilt or new replacement from a reliable source, or get another unit from a scrapyard.

2003 trailblazer blower not working

Are you saying the blower motor would run intermittently and then just stopped working? My first thought is faulty blower motor, I've seen faulty blower motors that would run intermittently. Any motor that uses brushes, you can tap on the motor to see if it will start working, that is a sign of bad motor brushes, replace the blower motor. There could be other issues?
Did you check the blower fuse, not only check the fuse, check the fuse circuit for voltage, use a test light. Check for applicable hvac trouble codes. With hvac on, check for voltage and ground at blower motor wiring connector, if both are good and no blower action, suspect the blower motor.

Do i have to pull the dash back and remove the case to replace blower motor my truck has a/c

no, you remove the blower motor from under the hood.

Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect blower motor harness connector in engine compartment, near blower motor. Remove blower motor screws. rotate and tilt blower motor assembly as needed for clearance, remove blower motor. To install, reverse removal procedure.

Air conditioning and blower stopped working, all fuses checked good.Is there a common feed to these two circuits?

The answer is that there is dirt dust and fuzz built up in the brushes of the blower motor. Had to figure this one out myself. Remove glove box, carefully disassemble bottom of blower motor, remove brush cap and brushes clean up mess and reassemble. Not for a novice but if you're a thinker you can figure it out. Mine has worked every time since. The Pontiac guys had no clue wanted to replace motor.

Heater blower does not work on my audi a4, where

The blower motor is located behind the glovebox.

You will need to remove the glovebox and you will see the blower motor at the top right side. Remove the screws holding it, disconnect the electrical connector and remove it from the car. It is a tight squeeze, be patient.

Fan blower stopped working

I had the same problem and Ia m working to resolve it.
You need to remove the blover under the glove box it's very easy to remove. 1) remove the glove box, 2) the metalic suport that it's hold by 4 screws and finally remove the 3 screws that holds the blower. Take it off and remove the coverplate of the motor ( 2 screws) and
check the brushes. In my case they were worn out. So you need to buy a new motor with the blower aprox $50 or try to replace the brushes.

Intermintant blower will not come on, horn won't work.

I have had intermintant heater blower opreation. When I take my hand and hit the unit the motor comes on! I have checked the schematic from the manual for the said 1995 Grand AM and electrically every item in the circut checks good.

I reckon the motor has a loose connection within the unit in question or perhaps the brushes are going bad, but as long as I hit the unit it works, ha! The most practical solution is to replace the motor unit with a used one from a junkyard and hope for the best? Or purchase a new unit which could be somedwhat costly? At any rate, it is better than being cold!
