How to recharge air condition in 2001 chevy impala?

If you need to recharge the ac system in your car they there is a major leak or problem that you have to fix first. Ac system will run for ever unless they develop a leak and the gas leaks out . Take it to an accredited ac specialist shop and have it checked out first for leaks and the exact nature of the problem

2007 AC does not work when vehicle is stopped when it is hot outside. Chev tech stated they all do this...Chev made a car that the AC quits when you really need it??

That is a load, are you sure this is an ASE certified AC repair mech??. Have the pressures tested to see what they are doing, you may have a slightly low refrigerant charge due to a leaking system.

Which fuse box has blower motor fuse on 2001 chev impala

There is a blower motor resistor located up under the passenger side dash. I believe there is actually 3 fuses that can cause problems with the blower....relays/fuses should be located in the engine compartment fuse block. They are High Blower fuse-HVAC fuse-Radio/HVAC/RFA/Cluster/etc...fuse. Hope this helps.

When is the suggested replacement for timing belt on 2001 Chev Impala? Is the timing belt also the serpentine belt?

the recommended replacement is usually 60 k however i think that belt can go to 100.000 miles, i would not recommend that, because todays driving conditions, the serp belt is a separate belt used to drive the accesories, i.e alt, power steering, a/c and should also be replaced ,however that type of belt can last up to 60.k

Easiest way to add power stearing fluid to a 2001 chevy impala v6 ??

Locate the cap to the power steering fluid reservoir
bc25493.jpg Remove cap and fill reservoir with GM Power Steering Fluid (P/N 89021184) or any fluid a knowledgeable parts department says is compatible. It may not look like much but there are a few dozen steering fluids available out there and lots of systems aren't compatible with many of them (wrong fluid will disintegrate seals, pumps, etc...)
