If you mean the cabin filter it is usually on the passenger side under the dash. If you have an owners manual it should say in it.

Very likely your fuel filter. Sometimes trash will get in the filter. The trash (debris) will settle to the bottom when nothing is being sucked through the filter (the car is not running) so there is no obstruction in the line. When the car runs the gas gets sucked through and at some point pulls that debris into a position where it blocks the flow, thus no gas get through and the car dies. Try changing your fuel filter.

The fuel filter in the Oldsmobile Intrigue is located under the car in front of the fuel tank. The purpose of the fuel filter is to pull out any debris and sediment that may have been sucked up by the fuel pump in the tank. Harmful sediment and debris can be hazardous to the engine. Replacement of the filter should be done every 30,000 miles.

Unfortunately your transmission has worn clutches and all the old clutch material is inside the transmission and you can't clean it out because on this model, Honda does not provide the traditional removable pan and filter like most cars. There is a filter inside the transmission and as you drive initially, it starts to get plugged with all the debris that is suspended in the fluid. Eventually the debris covers the filter and the pump starves and is unable to provide pressure to the clutches so the car stops moving. If you leave the car, off, sitting for twenty minutes, the debris falls off the filter and allows you to drive again until all of it is sucked back up and plugs the filter again. You have to take apart the transmission to fix it.

behind the glove compartment. Remove the one screw that holds the limit rod on the side of the glove box. Squeeze the sides of the glove box and remove from dash. Look straight ahead though the glove box opening. There is a rectangular panel that must be removed to see the air filter, no tools required. note the direction of the filter so that you may install the new one in the same direction. Pull the filter out slowly as there may be debris on top, you do not want this debris to fall down into the fan blower, if you do just reach into the opening and pull out the debris, leaves, ect. install new filter, cover, glove box and limit rod.

Sounds like you need to change the fluid and filter. When it sits: debris settles in the pan, then when you take off, it sucks all the debris up to the filter, clogging it up.....no pressure. Hope this helped.

Change the fluid and filter. Use Amsoil Full Synthetic and their best filter. Remove the pan and check for debris. Clean magnet and install new filter before reassembly. Gasket is re-usable, so don't buy one. DO NOT overtighten pan bolts. Refill with AMSOIL's best ATF. Good luck, it may not be fried yet. Debris amount on magnet should tell you a lot.

I'm not sure if your Jeep has this or not, but you could check with your local Chrysler dealership. Some vehicles have a sock filter in the gas tank to filter any debris before it is delivered to the engine. What sometimes will happen is, you vehicle will start and run until debris clogs the sock filter and it will die. After the vacuum on the fuel line is gone the debris will fall free from the sock filter back to the bottom of the gas tank. Then when you restart the vehicle it picks up the debris again and clogs you filter again. This happen to me once and I have to remove the tank and clean the debris out and install a new sock filter. Good luck.

My 2001 BUICK CENTURY TRANNY STOPS WORKIN AFTER 3 MIN.


Might want to remove the pan and look how much debris is in there. they can draw debris into the filter for like 15 minutes until it just wont let any more fluid go by then trans will neutralize. when you let it sit the debris by gravity falls back to the bottom of the pan. If this is the case changing fluid and filter may be a temporary fix but honesly when theres that much debris in there it needs rebuilt--in fact sometimes after fluid and filter change they wont move at all. The thick fluid and dirt provides some pressure. Hope I helped. Thanks

did you run out of fuel proir to the problem? if so, then you may have sucked up some debris from the bottom of the petrol tank, change the fuel filter as i had the same problem. the way the fuel filter is situated next to the fuel pump if any debris goes thru the line when you stop the debris will block the line.
