Could be the hydraulic block. Solenoid is bad. Could be the controller itself(PC board). could be bad wiring or motors. Depends on years. These are search and fix problems. It really has to be in my hands to fix. Most fixes are from corrosion. Meaning ,loosen a nut or bolt, retighten. Unplug and plug back in. If you see white to greenish color on wires, most likely the need replaced.

My Johb Deere 4310 won't start. No sound when I turn the key on the ignition switch. Battery's good, fuses are good. Indicator lamp 1 long and 6 short. What's wrong?

John deer is a seek and find mission. A good electrician could possibly find and fix it. But the would be breaking the law. Some how, John Deer got federal laws passed, That no one can work on the computer systems in their tractors. Unless you are a dealer.. You might try looking up code 16 for John deer.

Are the Cutting blades bolts for a John Deere LT 160 right handed thread or left handed thread?

It is typical to use right handed thread so you would turn them clockwise to install, and counterclockwise to remove. The blade rotates towards the cutting edge which is typically counterclockwise, so to remove the bolt, you unscrew it, with the handle of your wrench pulling towards the back of the blade.. These bolts can be really tight. Pull the spark plug lead or remove the ignition key so you don't get an accidental start. Wear gloves, there are sharp bits.

Note:
using an optional snap on wire harness adapter will simplify the wiring. Most snap on
wire harness adapters have already converted and color coded the wires from the auto
makers in dash wire harness to match typical aftermarket radio wire colors.
** The wire colors listed in the chart above are typical for these vehicles during these years
but may not be the exact colors for this vehicle. This is another reason to use a snap on
wire harness adapter. **

Need a color code for wiring a 4 pole towing kit

I don't know where to get the color code, but you can get yourself a cheap test light at your local parts house, then attach the wire of it to a good ground. Then turn left turn signal, and push the point of test light into each of the connections and when it lights up, makr left turn signal on a pice of tape and apply it to that waire, and so forth till you have identified each of the four wires. One of these wires will be ground so it won't light you up, The outlet has left turn, right turn, and tail lights. The stop lights come out on the turn signals.
