Question about 2006 Audi A6
Happy New Year! I installed dball2 + RS - 2006 Audi A6. After installation, the engine is not switched off when the ignition key is turned off. Then I, the gray wire + ignition status output 6p-12, with a diode connected to ON1 RS unit and the pink wire + ignition input 9p-10 connected to the ON2 RS unit. Everything was fine. What's the matter? My RS unit did not had a minimum of 10 seconds, wait to start at least was 15sec.. And so, the engine starts at the second attempt. After,I'll put 7-8 sec. timer relay.

SOURCE: audi a4 problem
I had this problem with my old Audi 80 and basically it was a knackered fuel pump. If your car is a few years old avoid the main Audi dealers and take it to an independant Audi/Volkswagon specialist and you will save a small fortune.

Could be neutral safety switch connector. May have a loose plug on the switch. Hope this helps. Best of luck to you.

Either charge or replace your battery or check for any faulty wires that could have been damaged by the excess loss of power if it was due to a short circuit.
