Any special tools required for front brakes on a 1991 Dodge Ram 1500 ?

That's the pin the springs attach to. It's not removable.

Locally my Auto zone parts store has loaner tools for this situation. Rental stores are another good source for that tool that you hope to only use once.

NO!!! you will have to remove brake caliper only. prbably rusted on, soak with fluid then tap

i do beleave you will have to get a special tool to unlock this axle

no you shouldnt need any special toois, a 15 mil and a ratchet should do it.

it does require some special equipment. most likely have the 9.25 axle in the truck which has adjusters on both sides of the differential that are threaded in the housing. these require a special tool to adjust and set proper backlash. also helpful to have a press with bearing pullers/installers. need a dail indicator to set backlash also

Sorry this is a very difficult job and you will need special tools,take my advice and take it to your local spanner man

Hub & bearing should be one assy, is that what your looking at?

once you remove the caliper bolt and get calipers out of the way, just a BFH to remove the hubless rotors
