Question about Cars & Trucks
This usually relates to one thing: a dirty filter. Here's why: pump tries to such enough water through the filter. It can't because it's dirty so the water pressure is too low to allow the heater to come on. So, it keeps running trying to heat. Pull out your filter and leave out for a day/ your temp should go up..if it does not then you will need to look at the pressure switch isn't closing. The switch can be adjusted for a very temporary fix. The permanent fix is replacement. Hope this helps Happy New Years Tim

My mechanic in our town did a quick computer check. Car computer indicated a low level of antifreeze, he topped it up, cleared all messages off the car computer and said to watch the the heat guage for any further irregularities. I'll keep an eye on it, love the car, great mileage fun to drive.

Entirely possible and in range. Depends on outside temps and type of driving. The radiator is colled by electric cooling fans, controlled by temp sensors. Fans should come on automatically when a/c is turned on

behind front grill (near engine coolant blower motor) you have two relays for engine blower motor and resistor. Or one of this relay is foulty (or wires in conector) (oxidation becouse of the wather), or the resistor is broken. yours engine have two speed (stage) fan and probably first does not work. you can check when engaging AC first stage should work instantly. second start in about 100°C
