Troy-Bily 2410 engine revs. Changed out fuel and used STP fuel injection but not helping. Machine is only one year old

I'm thinking fuel pump. When computer senses lean condition, it tries to compensate by increasing fuel. Then becomes too rich causing fuel cutoff thus the rev indication. If pump overheats it shuts down thus no start. The good news on this car the fuel pump can be accessed under the spare tire without dropping the fuel tank. Check fuel pressure to verify. Other suspects ISC and Throttle Position Sensor.

remove the air intake boot and inspect throttle body to see if it is closed all the way. some of thse had a flap riveted on that would break and jam butterfly open. if it is closed all way then you have a major vacuum leak somewhere

Trooper with 4jx1 engine. It starts, but why won't it rev?

Have you had the fuel system thouroughly checked. Perhaps the fuel is not being introduced into the combution chamber as a sufficiently high pressure to atomise it. For that particular diesel engine to run like that sounds like a possible fuel delivery issue

I changed engine blocks on my log skidder, it has a 5.9 cummins. Used the same injector pump and new injectors, the engine starts and runs idle good but has no power.tried timing it a different way 100...

easy, no year stated nor injection system. (old pump, mpi or direct injected)
my guess is the pump has issues or the fuel feed to it is restricted.
id buy the FSM that matches that engine,and real the injection chapters, and all tests stated there.
any time im at a stall, out comes books, or online versionl

Engine cannot rev over 3500rpm

timing out a few degrees or belt may have slipped..

1990 ford bronco with fuel injected 302 idles and revs fine out of gear but has loss of power and pings when in gear and accelerating...

First thing to try would be different fuel. Use a fuel stabilizer and fill with good gas. see if that helps. Also, check the fuel pressure.

Loss of power diesel

This is causes by either a defective injection pump or low fuel pressure in a digital injected diesel. If it does have digital injection you must have the system scanned for fault codes and the fuel pressure tested for proper PSI

When this stall or fails to start occurs have a pressure gage hooked up to the fuel injection pressure test port (top of engine in the pipe that supplies the fuel to injectors) and see if you are losing fuel pressure.

2001 Dodge Intepid relaced timing system & heads, only two cyliders are injecting fuel, seems different cylinders every starting attempt

check the timing slots on your left(driver's)side camshaft timing new sprocket slots to old gear..i bet you have a newer gear on engine now..different timing slot arrangement..your controller will not recognize these slots..they changed in 2002 model year to a different engine will need sprocket for your model year vehicle..i hope this helps

1984 Rabit loses power while going up an incline

you need to check the accumulator and make sure you are getting the correct fuel line psi. Also if it sat a long time with old gas in it it could just be old gas accumulation and deposits. get a good fuel line and injector cleaner one that dosn't say STP and cost's more than $15. One that has to be done threw the fuel line or injector ram. You can try using seafoam, its seams to work pretty good in this type of situation just look it up on UTube.

1989 ford bronco 302 fuel injected timing

on the bad gas part I would recommend to get some STP gas treatment with injector cleaner to put into the gas tank
try a salvage yard that has a 302 engine like yours and change the whole distributor because the shaft could be bad on that end
