A 2006 Ford Should not need rebuild, unless it was run completely out of fluid. What are your symptoms? Is it a manual or automatic? Do you pull a heavy trailer? Did you Change the trans. filter at 60,000 miles? Mr. Transmission has them on the shelf, but very expensive.

Yes it could but i would suggest checking the crank position sensor as it will not throw check engine codes. Also go to an auto store and have them pull the codes for you for free.

this is mostlikely a bad coil,best way to find out which coil is to hook it up to a scan tool and watch the misfire counter on each cylinder,may need to have a shop do that.

try checking the fuel pressure if the van runs at idle you should have between 30 t0 45 psi anything more check the fuel pressure regulator
