Yes, my son's 2009 Malibu does the same thing when we shut it off or switch the a/c on or off. It lasts a few seconds and then stops.

Used walmart oil filter. bought wrench from sear...metal sling, but no grip.always slips

Wrap duck tape around the oil filter and replace the oil filter wrench with the adjustable strap type. There more forgiving and tend not to crush the oil filter if it's on to tight. Good luck and keep me posted.

putt the plastic tool in it and push the fuel filter as far in as you can then give the filter a couple of turns ant try pulling it out as you turn it.

My 2000 volvo S-80 was parked on an incline and my wife couldn't get the transmission to go into gear. My son and a friend shook the car and he apparently used force to get the gear shifter to go into...

If the transmission is shifting and working properly it's not likely to be a bigger problem. However there is a strong chance that something is bent and if it is in the steering column (or console) there is a good chance that some of the linkage is white metal or pot metal and that could break at some point in the future. I would suggest at least a call to the dealer service department and tell them your story, see what they say. At least they should probably take a peek at your linkage, and take it from there. It easily could be something you could live with safely.

1984 Chevy 3/4 ton truck electrical shutdown on gear shift

I'd start looking for a loose or bad connection in the steering column. I doubt if it's a short or you'd be blowing fuses all over the place. Likely as you move the shift lever it is moving a wire that goes into or out from the ignition switch (on top of the column, under the dash)

95 jeep grand cherokee engine won't idle

check your air intake ducking for cracks....

the problem is probably there, wether you have a broken ducking or a cracked air intake gasket wich allows too much air in the intake manifold....

if the ducking and the gasket are good you might have a timing problem....
