This may be wear clutch related, if the clutch is starting to wear out past a certain point of clutch disk thickness the trans gears don't stop when you press the clutch in, this causes hard to shift issues like yours, one question does the clutch feel soft ot have to much play?

fuel pump in the fuel tank note that all ford are equipt with cut of suitch (interuptor) located under dach board in case of colision ,towing, ect.....this electrical devise wil stop the flow of the fuel to prevent car fire

the automatic clutch adjuster mechanism at the top of the pedal inside the cab is my first suspect before the clutch itself

It sounds like you have a detective synchronizer cone. Unless it stops you have grabbing 5th I would leave it alone. The cost to repair would be at least $1000.000 (one thousand)
