Do it yourself. All they are going to do is Factory Reset it, which clears all the data off and gives you a clean fresh installation. Then you Restore Data from your last Back Up.

Connect the phone to a computer with iTunes on it, log in and choose Factory Reset. Follow the instructions. When clean, select Restore from Backup. Your data will come back, but no lock.

I would ask them to prove or explain why they think the engine is not the same, were there any photographs of the engine taken by them if so are they different ? Whos to say the engine was not changed before they sold you the car. Sorry not really a answer just what I might do next if I were in your situation.

While replacing oil pan gasket, found a large amount of plastic pieces in the oil pan. now the engine is knocking.

The plastic pieces are your guide for your timing chain. This is a common problem on that year truck. I just replaced mine yesterday. Now today I get to mess with the distributor fun. I bought a ka24e timing chain kit from ebay $42.00 shipped. it comes with everything you need. An auto parts store wanted to charge me over $200.00 for the same type of kit. Well I'm sure this isn't really the news that you wanted to hear. Good luck, and I hope this helped.

Where is the flasher relay located on my 97 continental? I have looked under the dash and no luck. The auto parts store does not even list a part number for a 97. At first the rt blinker stopped working...

The Lincoln Continental flasher is integrated into the "Multifunction light control module" part # 13c788. Cost junk yard around $50. There is no stand alone flasher relay as in the older or more senseably engineered and cheaper cars.

Hope helps.

I also have made similar experience with my CRV-2007. I made the warning light disappear by taking off the battery power for some hours, starting up and driving a short tour with the car.

Chrysler sebring is locked in park

Had this happen to me yesterday.  Remove the liner in the cup holder.  There is a hole that you can stick your finger in to push the gear release lever forward.  If that does not work, pull up the chrome bezel around the gear shift.  there is a pink piece of plastic attached to a spring, push that down and towards the rear of the car and you should be able to shift freely until you put it in park again.  Make sure the car is running and your foot is on the brake while trying either solution.

Air condition suddenly blowing uncooled air.radiator full. worked great until yesterday. could it be thermostat?

The thermostat and radiator are part of the engine cooling system, not part of the air condition system. Chances are, the A/C system is low on refrigerant. The system has a low pressure switch that prevents the air conditioner compressor from being damaged with the Freon is low.

You can purchase a can or R134a refrigerant at any parts store and try recharging the system yourself….the basic instructions can be found here:

I have a 2000 montana and mine was doing the same thing. I replaced intake manifold gaskets, thremostat, and water pump. Turns out it my heads were warped. I had them taken to a machine shop and it has seemed to fix my overheating problems.

On 2001 Navigator, how does one replace the air pump at home

Consult or purchase the repair manual at the auto parts store.
Most are located in front on drivers side.
Be sure to push in first with hose and hold down retainer and pull hose out.
