I haven't heard of them being particularly troublesome brakes so presumably using the traditional method should be satisfactory - using an assistant to pump fresh fluid through each bleeder in turn by pressing the brake pedal. Start at the furthest from the master cylinder and work to the nearest.

If the system is dry it might be necessary to bleed the master cylinder first and then allow the system to fill under gravity for a time before bleeding.

Abslight stays on. How to fix? This is a2007trailblazer?

First you need to have EBCM - electronic brake control module check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's . If the light is on there is a code stored . I think most part stores can do this and for free . After you find out what code is stored , looking up that code in service repair information for diagnostic trouble shooting chart would be next step . There are a few codes too.
DTC C0035 or C0040
DTC C0045 or C0050
DTC C0110
DTC C0131
DTC C0161
DTC C0186
DTC C0196
DTC C0201
DTC C0240
DTC C0241 or P0856
DTC C0244 or P1689
DTC C0245
DTC C0283
DTC C0287
DTC C0290 or C0292
DTC C0455
DTC C0550
DTC C0558

Find the code do the diagnostic's , fix the problem , wiring issue's , a sensor , bad module ,what ever it is . The light will go out then . Here is a sample of code discription .
• DTC C0035 Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit
• DTC C0040 Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit

2004 chevy trailblazer how to remove the abs

just pull the fuse will take less than a minute or removing system a few hrs if all goes well because to remove the sensors you have to remove the wheels and rotors and unbolt it from hub which will leave a 1/4 inch whole open to the hub ---to remove the abs uni need to remove the hard line brake lines add short lines and bleed the whole system by removing the fuse the system will be standard power brakes

Why is my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer brake pedal not releasing?

See if the return spring on the brake pedal is connected or may be stretched. This is a pretty good sized spring that is attached to the pedal arm and connects to the body up under the dash.

2004 chevy trailblazer brake and abs light stays

on my old 1996 blazer.. the little wire coming from the battery +
positive terminal goes to the ABS.
...this needs to be attached properly.
with some snowPlow setups. its a good idea to disconnect the ABS...so the truck will Stop.
....proper bleeding of the ABS brake circuit may be needed.
..best idea.........see GM dealer.

Brakefluid indicator light on dash is on in a 2007 chevy trailblazer

Tilt the bonnet and to the brakes master cylinder reservoir and check the brake fluid level if is on maximum or minimum level. If it is on minimum or between, check for any leakage from the wheels,or the brakes are worn.

LOW BRAKE PEDAL ON 4 WHEEL DISK BRAKES

Check the pads/rotors to see if they need to be replaced.
Check the brake fluid level. If low it could mean the pads/rotors need to be replaced. If replacing also replace the brake fluid.
Two years probably means you need a brake job.

Otherwise you may have air in the brake lines which you can bleed off.

Front brakes

Antilock brake systems don't like fluid pushed back through the system.

You should follow good standard practice, by blocking and ensuring the car is stable and safe.

When the wheel is removed, clamp off the flexible brake fluid line. When you push he caliper back to change the pads, do it with the bleed screw open and catch the fluid that comes out. When the caliper is fully depressed, close the bleed screw up. Change the pads, ensure you put anti-squeel on the outter surfaces. Inspect the clips, ensure they are all seated properly.

Check the runout on the rotor, make sure it's not warped. Get them turned or replace them as necessary.

When done, reinstall everything and remove the clamp.

Start the truck, pump the brakes a few times to get fluid back to the front calipers. Inspect the fluid level in the resivoiour to ensure enough fluid is there.

Do some safe test brakes to ensure all is ok.
