Question about Chevrolet Camaro
If when you turn the ignition key there is no light on the dashboard, electrical do not work, and it looks like there is no power at all, then check the batteries cable, and ensure battery is not completely drained.
If battery and connectors are ok, and there is no power at all , then test and eventually replace the ignition cylinder.
If instead the car instruments have power, but when you turn the key you hear only a click, then you must check the following:
Ignition switch (located inside steering column)
Wiring to starter motor.
If finally the starter motor runs, but the car does not crank, then try to understand if there is spark on all cylinder, if the problem is concerning fuel or distribution.
If there is no spark check spark plugs, wires from distributor, distributor and distributor cap or ignition coil.
If you think that this is a fuel problem, check fuel pressure with a pressure gauge and check fuel pump and lines.
Also ensire that injectors have power.
If the car does not crank , a good idea would be scanning the car main computer module with an OBDII car reader, this will tell you more on the fault.
