SOURCE: the rocker arms keep breaking

Wear is usely the reason, I don't know how many miles you have on it, but you might be money ahead to buy a set of after market rockers arms from summit racing or someplace like that, there made out of heaver and stronger metal and not that much more in price than the stock pieces.

SOURCE: Have a Hyundai Tuson. Worn out cam shaft gear

if all these parts have wear marks then all the components will have to be replaced with new.you can have the cam reground but its probably cheaper and quicker to replace with new by the time you find a place to weld regrind the lobes and get the part back and hope it won`t give you a problem,so you don`t have to tear down again.

Balancer shaft came apart ???????? crankshaft pulley keeps throwing balancer car won't accelerate balencer shaft timing marks keep coming off on recheck of timing belt new tps ,converter howlled for test...

Sounds like the harmonic balancer - that also serves as the timing on a non distributor car has stripped the threads out. This usually - not always but usually requires a new crank shaft. Might be cheaper to just get a used engine.
take down the vin number and ask the local dealer if there have been any recalls or service bulletins

I have taken the head off the engine and need to known how to find TDC on the compression stroke, with the head off? Hyundai Accent 2000 Model 1500cc.

Hey..my name is Keith..i'll try to answer your question..and the way to find TDC is to take your valve cover off..and find the valves and rocker arms to your #1 cyclinder..then ya rotate the crank til the markings on the harmonic balancer says its at TDC...then you grab the rocker arms on the valves..and if the intake valve and exhaust valve has no pressure on it..then you know you are on #1 cyclinder at TDC..if not..keep rotating the crankshaft until the #1 cyclinder valves has no pressure on them..i hope this has helped

3. Install the ignition coil. 4. Install the rocker arm and rocker arm shaft. Refer to "Rocker Arms and Rocker Arm Shafts" section. 83e48db.jpg 5. Using special tools, Camshaft Oil Seal Installer (09221-21000), press fit the camshaft oil seal. Be sure to apply engine oil to the external surface of the oil seal. Insert the oil seal along the camshaft front end and install by driving the installer with a hammer until the oil seal is pulley seated. bda0592.jpg 6.
