Check GAS!,if low when cold that may be it. Also check fuel filter/ fuel pump make sure those are functioning properly. Then work your way to spark.. new plugs cap rotor .if needed. If not that could be a vacuum leak.. not sure what kind of car it is but those are basic trouble shooting ideas for you. Hope I helped u out..
