Mercedes benz 2005 c-2320 coupe trunk will not unlatch

Has to go on a scanner to see what isn't working. The control module could be receiving the signal. This could be the controller or a bad wire. No communications between computers. Even doors have computers in them.

How to bypass a sensor key for mercedes benz for the engine to start

You would have to disconnect the alarm system, if you were to bypass the key. The alarm system has to get info from the key to prevent someone from hot wiring the car and stealing it.

You can bypass it but not disconnect it. Go here for instructions. Your model may not be listed but if your key looks like the one pictured then it will work.

2006 MERCEDES BENZ SL500 wont start. The panel reads : "key no detected'

Do you have a spare key to try?
This could be a bad key transponder - or a faulty reader in the vehicle.
If a second key yields the same results - the vehicle must be serviced.

Electronic key keeps eating batteries only last a week

Check the metal clip on the area where it holds the Lithium battery to clear out the shorted. If there is none then The mini board circuit in your FOS key is bad draining current. You have the second one for spare. Every Benz car comes with 2 FOS keys. Use the spare one and put away the bad one. It is expensive to buy a duplicated one. Cheer.

There should be a key switch under the hood but you need a different key to the ignition key, it is usually a much smaller key than the ignition one.
