SOURCE: 92 toyota corrola inner tie rod replacement

Best to have an Alignment Shop do that, because it
will need to be aligned when your done

Don't go to one of the franchise names,go to a front end
& alignment only place

You could buy the tools, but you would never use them again

Any online tool supply will discribe what you would need

You may be better to replace the steering rack if it is original
to the car,it's going to fail anyway

you need to either be able to get a wrench on the Inner Nut or you need the special tool to get the Inner Off. The Correct tool makes it an EASY Job..

My 1996 toyota camry is shaking a lot

1st check air pressure in tires make sure they are all set to 35psi.
If that don't fix it
2nd it would be out of line. Front end alignment will be needed.
3rd inner tie Rod ends may be worn out.
If you fix all of these and your problem still exist then it would be your inner tie rods.

But 1st i would check pressure in tires and go from there.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I CHANGE WHEN I AM CHANGING REAR STRUTS ON 94 CAMRY

On the struts, it will depend a bit on what you find, but I would also replace the bounce buffers, upper and low spring seat rubbers and maybe the strut upper bearing plates if they have been noisy at all. They do wear.

Have a close look at the bushings in the lower lateral arms and the torque rods (drag links). I would replace the sway bar mount bushings as they are notorious on this car for wearing quickly.

Tire rod end left sidefrom gearbox is broken how do i dismantel

if its the outer tie rod than loosen the jam nut on the threaded part of the inner tie rod. You will then be able to unthread the outer tie rod from the inner. Count the number of turns and install the new one with the same number of turns.

If its the inner tie rod you will need an inner tie rode remover/installer tool and a torque wrench.

How too change inner tierod on 2005 pontiac g6

If you have electric steering(no power steering pump)you have to change the entire steering gear assembly as no part is available. If you have the system with a pump a part is available. In order to change the inner tie rod you would loosen the 21mm lock nut on the tie rod.remove the 18mm nut on the outer tie rod and spin off after removing the outer tie rod from the steering knuckle.Remove the nut and the inner and outer clamps on the tie rod boot.remove the boot. You would then need a special inner tie rod tool to turn the threaded inner rod from the steering gear.

Noise in sway bar area/94 camry 4 cyl

Possible tranny or engine mount. Check bushings. Check brake pad backing plates (loose), check brake pad movement (add shims), but most likely mounts. you need to torque the engine while an assistant checks for bad mounts.
