Hi, 1997 Jaguar xk8 convertible. Drivers seat electrics not functioning where is the relevant fuse?

Unfortunately for many of the Jaguar models there is only one fuse for all the functions of each seat. The fuse locations can be found in the electrical section of the owners manual or Roadside emergency service section of the Vehicle Care Manual. In a 2000 XK8 the fuse for the drivers seat is fuse #1 (20A) located in the drivers side fascia fusebox (at left end of instrument panel). Not sure if it was changed from 1997 but doubt it.

Had problem of seat fuse blowing on XJ8 every time the headrest adjustment was attempted (shorted motor). Very tiring to deal with but be aware if fuse continues to blow you might have a motor or wiring problem. Good luck.

Where is the window relay located;

Check the fuses. The relays will be in the fuse box as well. The legend should be on the lid. Check the one in the car and the one under the hood.

Where can i find the relay switch for 2005 saab 93 for passenger door?

Either under the steeringwheel. Remove the clothing and you will se a box. Theres a screw holding it to place, unscrewt it and you can fold down the fusebox. Fuses and relays. If not found, there is another fusebox. If you're sitting in the driver's seat, open your door and there should be a lid on the side of the instrument panel. Can only by seen by opening the door.

The rear defroster doesn't work on 2005 Chevy Trailblazer. How do you find out if it the fuse and where is the fuse located?

I believe your fusebox may be located either under the rear left seat or in the engine compartment. If your defroster is the electrical type embedded in the window glass, then you may find that the problem is with the connection between the glass and the vehicle body. Typically when you close the window there are a series of brass contacts leading to the embedded wires that seat on brass contacts from the body. These contacts can get dirty. Sometimes just rubbing them with a pencil eraser to clean them off is enough to get things going again.

Both electric rear windows do not operate

Hi,

Thanks for using FixYa!

If the rear power windows don't work. Its possible that you have a blown fuse for the rear side windows. Open up the fusebox usually located under the dashboard. Check the fusebox manual. Locate the fuse for the rear power windows. check if the fuse is blown. Replace the fuse. im 98% sure that its just a blown fuse.

Have a wonderful day.
