The owner is the person that bought the vehicle! the holder means for someone other than them to use ie. company car. but who is responsible for vehicle ie. insurance damage etc.depends on the contract or arrangment at that time sounds like you are responsiable to renew the licence

Can't remember my drivers license number and need to renew my license

Hi Georgina:
Odds are pretty good that your local motor vehicle licence agency will have your number on file. Also, if you have any vehicles registered in your name, your drivers licence number will usually be on the registration.
Hope this helps.
Best of luck.

I have this car i got form sumone with no title and he didnt have one what do i do

Get the VIN number off the car (long number on the dashboard by the wind shield) and check with the DMV in your state and make sure it is not stolen.
NEVER give money to some one for a car that does not have the title. Titles (if you are really the owner of the car) are easy to get - unless the car is stolen.
