Soft top driver side top corner water leak how do I repair

It could be a # of things, like the weatherstripping condition for instance, or the latch is out of adjustment, There should be a way of adjusting the roof latch, shorten the connecting hook, or the frame of the roof could be bent. Or is there a hole in the roof?Etc. Etc. Depending on what is causing the leaking will depend on how to stop the leak.could you be more specific as to where/ how the water is getting in? It would narrow down the answer.

2004 Expedition Sun Roof Leaks

you have 2 drains in the front that go down the a pillars and dump near the fenders.

The rear usually go down the B pillar or C pillar and out thebottom near the rocker panel.

Blow them out from the top with compressed air and make sure you have air flow at the exits.. Open the roof to see drain holes in the four corners.

-----------
  • The roof opening panel leaks
  • Roof opening panel adjustment.
  • Front rail seal.
  • Drain tube attachment points.
  • Roof opening panel water trough and seal.
  • Roof opening panel drain hose.
  • Roof opening panel seal.
  • Roof opening panel.

Had same problem with 91 Prelude, after rain, water would leak from moonroof, especially when stopping, having a wet neck on the way to work is not fun! Solution was to remove the small screens and restrictor caps on the drain hoses. The hoses can be acessed through the trunk behind the quarter panel cover on either side, just have a can ready for the skanky water to drain once the plugs are removed. When all clear, the drains should drain out right behind the mud flaps in the rear on each side. There are fron drains as well, these run behind the driver and passanger kick panels and drain around the mud flaps in the front.
