If it is mounted on the windshield, the mirror is attached to a bracket that is glued top the glass. You will see a small set screw at the base of the bracket. Most likely an Allen screw. Loosen the screw and slide the mirror up off the bracket.

How to chang fuse for dash board lights

Alrighty. Judging by your owner's manual (the online version), there is a trim panel underneath the right hand side of the instrument panel (should be underneath the steering wheel). You will need to take that off (it looks like 4/6 bolts/screws), and then there is the fusebox cover, pull that lightly off, too. Now, when you're looking at the fuses, there should be a long, unbroken string of 11 blade-type fuses on one side. You are wanting to get at fuse #6. It is a 15 amp blade-type fuse. After that, reinstall the fuse cover and the trim panel. If I'm unclear, and I'm not ruling this out, let me give you a good link to the manual I used: . Straight from Ford. I wish you the best of luck-and I'm not a Ford person, but if something goes wrong, don't be afraid to grab me back to help more.

How do you remove a shifter noob from 1996 jagaur

There should be a small allen screw acting as a keeper and set screw at the base of the knob. Once the allen screw is backed out, watch you don't lose it, the knob should just un screw. Just twist! Counterclockwise. Depending on the knob you are going to replace it with, you may need the same allen screw or one may be provided to act in the same way. ----- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Seperate rearview mirror from plate both came off

Replacing the rear view mirror on a Ford Explorer is easy. The only obstacle you might encounter is fear of breaking the glued metal plate off the windshield. Do not sweat it. You can buy glues at the auto parts store to reattach the mirror to the windshield (Difficulty: Moderately Easy).

  1. Tap gently at the base of the mirror where it slides on over the metal plate glued to the windshield and pull upward. Some rear view mirrors have a small Allen screw that tightens the base of the rear view mirror to the metal plate. Disconnect the electrical plugs if your rear view mirror has them.
  2. Pull the rear view mirror clear of the metal plate. Clean around the metal plate glued to the windshield. If the metal plate has come off because of harsh weather or from hammering too hard at it, reattach it with glue designed for this job.
  3. Clean the area where you will be attaching the metal plate on the windshield. Apply the glue evenly on the surface of the metal plate that will go against the window. Be sure to clean and scrape off all the old glue before applying the new glue. Gently push the metal plate against the windshield in the spot you wanted it and hold tight for five minutes.
  4. Wait a day before putting the base of the mirror or replacement rear view mirror onto the metal plate. Do not force the base over the plate. Forcing it will likely dislodge it again. Press firmly until it will not slide along the grooves of the metal plate. Reconnect your electrical plugs and tighten the Allen screw if your new mirror has one. Adjust the mirror according to your safe viewing preference

Hope help with this (remember rated this help). Good luck.

Remove the passenger side kick panel (where the little light is above the pasengers feet) it is held by 2 T25 screws, pop down the front edge and angle it out. Then you will see a black panel on the bottom of the airbox held by 4 gold color T25 screws, remove those and pull out the filter
