The ETC light comes on and I have no control of the vehicle. 2005 Ford Territory Ghia. Used hand brake to stop!

ford territory has a probem with engine control and issued a major recall to have it fixed
indications were
driver unable to stop the engine , stop the vehicle or control vehicle speed \

I have a 2007 Ford Fairmont Ghia Sedan. Rear brake lights and indicators work but not the tail light.

tail lights work off the main light switch or through the light control module
the first click is tail and park lights , the second click is main beams or low beams

hello, this is generally caused by dirt build up inside the door jams,quick fix can usaully be done ;u will need a can of zep 45/or wd/40 u will want to do this to all door jams,start on oneside and work your way around soak down the latch assym. then take a screw driver lift handle. and hold while working the latch back@forth i hope i explained , if not let me know and will try and send a video to help u out

Check the Pedal switch near the brake pedal.
