Do not force them !
all these have locks. there is a lever to push
if you force it then good luck finding
old Suzuki Swift connectors (the true name)
most Suzuki conn, you push the lever
there are exceptions , some Oxy sensors are backwards levers.
pull. type.
the service manual covers this is great details, btw.

Testimonial: "I have both of the factory service manuals and I do not see where it says how to disconnect it. Manual only says " Remove or disconnect ignition control module electrical connector""

if push comes to shove?, put a tooth pick
below those 2 arrows, and push in , making
the Bail ends, move outboard. BAM off.

Some it starts

my 97 geo metro will not start when I turn the ignition key. The radio will work, buzzer etc. I can jump it with another car and it will start and run. If I turn ignition key to start, there is absolutely no crank, no click, no nothing. Could this be ignition module, bad battery, voltage regulator, starter?

Ignition timing for 1991 Pontiac Firefly or 1991 Chevrolet Sprint or 1991 Geo Metro

for 1991 geo metro 1.0 liter 3 cyl engine the timing is 6 degrees before top dead center. you will need a tachometer because the rpm must be 800 when you set the timing. also you will need to disconnect the vacuum advance to the distributor, and plug the hose to avoid a vacuum leak. (alternate method is to pinch the vacuum advance hose going to the distributor while you are setting the timing) Good Luck!
