Try having the fault codes read first to see what sensors are failing
could be a loose wire or connection or corroded connection pins but any shop that guesses the problem without reading the codes first is guessing at the fault and fixing by guessing is not the way to go.

No. What you can do is look for one of the abs sensors that is either disconnected at the wheel hub or use an ohm meter on the connections to test the resistance. If you find one with OL, that is a short and look for a broken wire.

I need you to have it scanned for fault codes, without the fault codes diagnosis is totally guess work on your dime.

06 monta carlo LS traction control light comes on but there is no ABS light on.I also noticed that when iam cruising down the highway the car's tac is jumping a little and the car is jerking

Engine misfire ! If you have a diagnostic scan tool hooked up ,a professional grade . Can see misfire counter , which would show which cylinder is misfiring . A misfire would cause your jumping and jerking problem . And this would cause traction control light to come on disabling the traction control .

Abs and tcs light on 2000 chevy montecarlo

The abs light comes on when a fault is detected with abs system. Your best bet is to have the abs system scanned for trouble codes. Typically loose wheel bearings, or broken abs sensor harness wires are the two most common causes for the abs light to come on.

TRACTION CONTROL AND ABS LIGHT COMES ON

Well you have a DRP Dynamic Rear proportioning problem, this is how the rear brakes are controlled by the EBDM in the ABS/TCS.
If you have had or have a low voltage problem problem change your battery. Low or inconsistent voltage is horrible on electronics.
Or you have had 2 speed sensors on the same axle go out and send bad report at the same time. This car is not to be cranked and ran in the air or on a lift or while jacked up so if Midas did this they owe you your money back they set the code threw the traction control module if this happened in Midas. If not look into all above for your solution. Please rate my solution this is how i earn my achievements. Thanks in advance.

2002 chevy monte carlo ss 3.8liter -traction abs issues- the abs light and the traction control light come on and the display says to service traction control. how do i fix this and what could have caused...

So your problem right now is that the ABS/TRAC light keeps coming on? is this correct? and, is there any codes in the ABS Module?

There should be a history code in the ABS when that light comes on it has a code and it will store the code in the ABS computers history. Even if the light is off there should be an ABS code or codes in the history. Having that code or codes is where we need to go next.

Then, if the lights are coming on and it is NOT setting any codes. If thats the case there could be a power or ground problem to the ABS module.but the most problem I have seen with these is the wiring to the front sensors goes bad an intermitanlty will loose a front signal to one of the front sensors and cause this. But that would usually throw a code in it. 9 times out of 10 replacing the harnesses to both front sensors should do the trick (if we had a code and knew if it was RF or LF then we would just replace the wiring to the affected side).

2004 Monte Carlo "Trac off" light is on and "service traction system" warning is on and dinging. ABS light is also on. I was given code c1214 and c1226 software EBCM up-date? What is the problem?

The traction control and abs are both activated by the abs sensors located at all four wheels. It is common for those sensors to get covered in brake dust and get false or no signal. Also the wiring connections can become corroded over time. I am not sure what the codes are for but checking the sensors/wiring are where I would start.

You still have issues with the speed sensors. The wires that connect to the hubs are known for failure.

What codes and what do the messages say? Other than service traction control. For that you need to scan the ABS system for codes.
