I have a 1984 chevy 350 engine in a 1972 pick up. The water is getting in the oil some where. The #6 spark plug would have a few water bubbles on it, what would cause this?

a leaking head gasket. don't start the engine and let someone repair this. If the engine already was to hot, you can't just replace the gasket, it also needs levelling or flatting the engine and the head.

I have a 88 chevy 4x4 with sb 350 tbi. i want to swap 350 block with a 400 block ( keep the 350 heads and tbi system just swap the block). i know i must bore the steam holes but thats all i know i must do....

a full decking of heads, as well as refurbishing at a head shop is most likely necessary, new head bolts, head gaskets, as well as checking the valve/piston clearance.make sure the coolant holes are properly cleaned out, and this could be a good time to port and polish the heads

1999 chevy 350 runs rough at idle. #4cyl misfire. light gray build up on spark plug. compression good 180.

You either have a bad spark plug wire or coil pack. The light gray color on plug is normal.

I need to know how much pounds is apliied to a 350 chevy cylinder heads

What is the year and model of your vehicle?

On a 1968 Chevy 350 small block it is 60-70 ft/lbs with sealant applied

When torqueing the heads, it is helpful to start at around 25 ft. lbs. and torque all the bolts, then go to 50 ft. lbs., and finally, your specified torque. Doing this in increments will help give a nice even torque to the heads
