Is it a good idea for me to have full coverage insurance on a 2006 saturn ion2?

I can't put a value on your vehicle without seeing it , but at 11 years old it probably isn't worth a huge amount, no offence , it depend's what the exceptions are on the insurance , whether the service schedule is upto date etc , So get a valuation on your vehicle and weigh up whether paying $606 a year seems good value for what they cover , mileage is usually a big factor when these insurances are claimed on also , hope this helps , good luck

I've taken my car for more than 10xs in the last 18 months and now my clutch is gone and they told me the part would take 10 wks to get it. And they damaged my front end and won't pay to fix it.

Please don't\put your cell phone and email on a site like this.

Is this car not under manufacture's warranty? Maybe find a laywer that specializes in auto lemon laws for your state.

Electrical problems

Are these factory OEM replacements? I once put three cheap aftermarket Kragen batteries in my Corvette in 6 months, bought a Delco and problem solved, that was years ago. Sounds like your problem is that the car sits to much, if it sits more a few weeks either hook up a float battery charger or disconnect the negative cable to the batt.

My 2005 Mazda 6 has fallen apart in the last 6 months. The air conditioner has broken 3 times. They replaced the catalytic converter (still under warranty). Have other people had serious problems after...

I have had terrible problems. I have 109,000 miles on it and last month the transmission went, the alternator also went and when it did it sent an electric shock through my car that fried all of my lights, sensors, event the motor in the door. The shock fried my radio and now my air doesn't work.

Mazda kept it for 3 weeks telling me they did not have a loaner car for me and wanted me to pay $50 a day to rent a car. They were terribly slow.

I will never buy another Mazda.

My 2004 Ford Ranger brakes ware out every 6 months. The orginal brakes lasted about 30K miles. Replacement brakes last about 6-10K miles. I also have to replace the rotors. This is not normal. How can I...

Somewhere along the line you are getting ripped off.Unless you are racing around Daytona the figures are wrong.Do you tow a huge load every day or really give it to the truck. No?
30,000 might sound ok so your replacement is wrong.
Change shops.Whoever is working on the truck is wrong.
Brakes are designed to last with standard use about 60000 kms(35000mls) and that is on the front.Rears are diff.
If you get work done on the car from the same person,be there.Make them show you the brake pad thickness, the disc thickness and how much it was at the last service.I mean look at the brakes as it is being done,Don't take their word.To many ripoffs around.Hope this helps

7 starter`s in a year

Did the original starter have shims? It may need some. Get a delco starter and new bolts. Rebuilt non delco starters give trouble and do not last. Check flywheel teeth.

2000 s10 starter last only 2 months,

I would check current draw with a good ammeter & se how much current the starter draws when cranking. I owuld guess about 400 amps, but check with Delco. Other possibility is starter is binding on flywheel.
Did you disassemble one of the faulty staters to see if armature is rubbing on magents or coils?
Are these starters remans or new? Remans sometimes have problems.

Just leased an 08 SS

I just leased my 2007 TBSS w/ 3SS, Safe and Sound, no sunroof, BOSE, no nav.
MSRP was $36k
Had a 2006 TBSS and did a 6 month pull ahead (turned it in and didn't have to pay the last 6 months of that lease).
GMAC had a $1k incentive on leases so that acted like a cap reduction payment.
No security since I was turning in a 2006.
Paid 1st and last month for a total of $885.
Monthly payment including state tax of $40 is $440.
Hope that helps.
