SOURCE: 2002 chevy Blazer hard starting

This sounds like the fuel pump is shot. The pump has a 'dead' spot and when the engine is started by using 'nasty' starting fluid it will go to the running mode and run fine. Never use starting fluid!!! A bit of gas is best, just use common sence. Frankster016

SOURCE: fuel pressure regulator had no vacuum line connected

another engineers wet dream. think of it this way . what is normally in the intake when the engine is running.. answer vacume, hence the regulator gets its vacume without a hose connected to it as its already in a full time vacume chamber.no hose required . ps be carefull to seat the regulator and o rings securely into the housing befor you reattach the secureing metal clip.
good luck chris

SOURCE: fuel leaking into vacuum line on fuel pressure regulator

If you have fuel on the vacuum side of the reg, that means the reg is leaking, causing a variaty of drivabiliy problems. Replacing this reg is very straight forward. Just add a little lube to the O-ring on the reg before installation. Good luck.

2004 chevy cavalier wi'll not start unless I keep my foot on gas. Then it will start but won't stay running until it warms up. While driving it runs fine untill you brare then it stalls out.

Pressing the pedal down, puts in clear flood mode. Any applicable trouble codes? Did you use a gage and check correct fuel pressure, also, see if pressure will hold for a bit, with everything off. If it drops like a rock you have fuel leak. Pull vac line off fuel pressure regulator, where applicable, if fuel runs out, you have a faulty fuel pressure regulator. You could have fuel injector leak?
Smell of your crankcase oil dipstick, if it smells like gas, either you don't change your oil and filter very often or fuel leak. There could be other issues? You have to start testing, somewhere.

2002 caviler will only start after spraying starting fluid or carb cleaner for a while until it catches, but then after i drive it for a little over an hour it stalls out and will not restart.

I would check the inline fuel filter to see if it needs replacing. Sounds like the fuel line is losing prime which could either mean a fuel pump going bad or a faulty fuel pressure regulator or even a loose fitting in the fuel line somewhere. Does the car smell like gas when it sits a while? They might signify leaking fuel line. Check your oil, does it smell like gas? That could signify a faulty fuel pressure regulator that is dumping fuel when the car is shut off which drains down to the crankcase. I would guess fuel pump though.

I have a CNG dual fuel Cavalier. The CNG tank is leaking and all the Chevy dealers( the CNG system was made by GM) will not touch anything because their is a leak. The fire department came and went around...

Well, you have an issue. I wouldn't say that it is the GMS, but it could be. The issues you are seeing could also come from low fuel pressure caused by a number of things from the little filter in the high pressure regulator to issues with the low pressure regulator. The frequency (HZ) thing is a little confusing---all it is saying is that the GMS isn't seeing the amount of requested fuel (requested by the AF ECU) passing through the sensor. If you have a mechanic that can scan the AF ECU, then the thing you want to look at is the requested gas flow v.s. the flow reported by the GMS. These two numbers should track each other. Sometimes the car sets a low frequency code when first trying to start as there just isn't enough NG arriving at the GMS during cranking. In any event, two things. Usually the GMS doesn't cure itself--so if it is running OK one day and not the next--it may be a fuel pressure issue. If you have, or can get a copy of the service manual supplement for any CNG Cavalier from 1999 through 2002, the procedures for checking fuel pressures can be used for your car. It is important to check the intermediate fuel pressures (at the entrance to the low pressure regulator) with the car under load. Also, follow the flow charts in the manual for diagnosis of the codes you received.

Gas line leaking by engine how do repair that?

Where is it leaking? If its at the fuel rail fuel pressure regulator you may need a new regulator if leaking on the metal part. If its leaking at the rail side its just the "O" ring. Relieve fuel pressure(push in valve under plastic cap right side beside alternator on rail. Remove the torx screw holding regulator bracket. Pry out and replace "O" ring, reassemble. If its not the regulator it may be a fuel injector, you need to remove the fuel rail and replace both the upper and lower injector "O" rings. This however needs the intake manifold removed to repair.
