The sensor is on the drivers side exhaust pipe. Follow exhaust pipe to converter, sensor 2 is located after the converter.

Where is the oxygen sensor located on a 1999 GMC Yukon with a 350.

You have four O2 sensors in your vehicle. Bank 1 and Bank 2. Typically it is Bank One, sensor Two that goes out from minor oil leaks on your engine. Here are a couple diagrams. Lay down behind your right front tire and look up. Look for cracked wires or burnt areas by connection. You can't always tell by looking. Easy to replace and fairly cheap.

How many o2 sensor are on a 2004 gmc yukon

Hi Charles,

GM products have 4 O2 sensors attached along the exhaust pipes coming off the manifold. Bank 1 is aligned to cylinder 1 on the engine which is the driver's side. Sensor 2 is the one after the convertor (Sensor 1 being the one before the convertor). Link attached for more information.

Oxygen Sensor Locations

I have changed out one of mine; quite easy, but you need a sensor wrench which you can find an any automotive store for around $15.

The part is available readily enough - link attached.

Good luck

Where is the oxygen sensor located in bank one on 2002 yukon Denali

Bank one is the drivers side. If it is bank 1, sensor 1 the it is in front of catalytic converter...if it is bank 1, sensor 2 then it's the sensor behind the converter on the drivers side

Multiple misfire on 2004 gmc Yukon 4.8 liter engine, can't diagnose?

Hi kathy
I am sure that your YUKON engine is not idling smooth.
the problem seems to me like you have a vacuum leak, better check inlet manifold and the vacuum hoses.
good luck

1999 GMC Tahoe 5.7L engine trying to locate O2 sensor bank 1? there are 4 on the vehicle 2 before the cataylic convertor and 2 after. Which one would it be? right front? left front? right rear? left rear?

Hi, There are 4 sensors, 2 pre catalytic converter, 2 post. The driver side is bank 1, and the passenger side is bank 2 .The foreward one in the pipe coming from the driver side is bank1 sensor 1, the rear sensor for the driver side is bank 1 sensor 2 . The other side would be the same, but bank 2. Good luck...

Where is the bank 1 sensor 2 o2 sensor for a 96 chevy s10 v-6?

Oxygen sensors are numbered by which bank of cylinders they serve. Bank 1 is the left or drivers side bank of cylinders on the 4.3L which has the odd numbered cylinders 1,3, and 5. Bank 2 is the right or passenger side bank of cylinders numbered 2, 4, and 6. The Bank 1 Sensor 1 would be the sensor for the left hand side of the engine AHEAD of the converter. Bank 1 Sensor 2 is the sensor for the left hand side bank of cylinders BEHIND the converter.

Which side is bank 2 on 04 yukon for sensor 2 replacement

if you look at the front of the motor you will notice one cyclinder is further forward then the other... that first cyclinder would be 1. i'm guessing the side opposite to cyclinder one would be bank two.
