Question about Jeep Cars & Trucks
If it's an auto transmission, there will be a gear position switch that will enable the starter relay. If this switch is not aligned with 'N' or "P" gear position, it will not enable the relay and no power will be connected to the starter. When you turn the key to start, have someone hold.or listen to the starter relay operating. If nothing happens, check/replace relay and try again. If it still fails, try shifting to N and try again. Have a look your instrument panel make sure that the immobilizer is not active when your switch on the ignition.
