No it most likely the clockspring contact under the steering wheel has a broken circuit filament.

The car alarm won't go off. how do we stop it

If it is the horn, pull the horn fuse or relay. Does the vehicle start and drive, ok? Of course, pulling the fuse or relay isn't the proper fix. I'm just talking about killing the horn, where applicable.

I need help with a 2000 Jeep Cherokee locating and fixing a horn that stopped working...fuse is okay

get a long wire and test the horn directly from the battery positive, if it works many times the vibration clears the problem, If you press the horn and do not hear a clicking sound from under dash, find fuse box in engine compartment, study all relays, find two that are exactly alike and swith with horn relay, test, if it works, there it is!

My turn signals work when it wants to. I checked the fuses and they appear to be ok. Is there some other area I should check and what part will I need. I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laradeo.

there is a flasher canister under or behind the dash if not located in the fuse block. when they do work listen for the clicking sound when they flash the clicking sound is the flasher and it's going bad this is a very cheap part and can be purchased at any part store. its just like a fuse no tools required just pull it out and push the new one in

No horn in '94 Jeep Grand Cherokee

go to the horn under your hood, check it for any thing wrong, then follow the power wire and follow it back to your steering wheal. this is where your problem is you just have to find out where the short is. and fix it.

Location of horn in a 2005 jeep grand cherokee limited

The first thing I would check is the fuse for the horn. If it's blown, it's a cheap and easy fix. If you have the user's manual for the vehicle, it should show you the location of the fuse for the horn. Pull it, and check to see if it's blown. Aside from that, it could be that they disconneccted it below the hood. A Chilton's manual or a quick online search will help you locate the horn connection between your steering column and the horn itself. If there's a wire unplugged, just plug it back in. If both of those yeild no results, I'd find another dealership, or a trustworthy mechanic to help you diagnose.
