SOURCE: rear door panel removal

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. SOURCE: Remove the right rear door panel in a Mercury Sable

Removed two screws from the perimeter of the door, one in the back edge and the other under the bottom. Remove one screw from the handle cup where the window switch is located. Placed some tape around the edge of the handle cup for protection against scratches and pried the cup out with a small putty knife. It is hard, but will pop out. Next I taped the paint around the door panel and used a flat bar to reach behind the panel and had enough of a gap to see the orange tabs and pried each one to remove the panel completely. The panel does not need to be lifted up to removed, just pull it straight off the door. A few tabs may still be holding, but will pop off with a bit of pressure.

Where is the manual liftgate sensor located 2009 Equinox

The liftgate can be opened by operating the switch on the instrument panel. Battery voltage is supplied to the liftgate actuator through the body control module (BCM). The BCM will pulse the liftgate actuator when a release input is received through the key fob, or the instrument panel switch.
Not sure what your talking about . There is no sensor. there is a relay in the I/P fuse box LIFTGATE PCB relay . an a lift gate actuator motor inside the door . An there is a door ajar switch ,which is part of the latch mechanism. Do you have light lit on the instrument cluster - a picture of a little car with a door open , an maybe a chime sounding ?

Not

Rear hatch door on 2007 equinox

More than likely the plastic clips that hold the linkage together have either fallen off or broken. You'll have to remove the door panel to get access to the linkage. Most places like autozone carry the plastic clips but you may want to go directly to the dealer and buy them so you know they'll fit.

Hopefully this vehicle is still under warranty. If its not bring the vehicle back to them and see what they say. If they choose not to do the right thing go to a
autobody repair shop(these guys do this everyday)
have them free up the door and give you a key way into that door.

Replacing a drivers door motor on a 2007 equinox

the door panel should be held on with maybe 3-5 screws once you remove the screws there will be plastic clips holding the panel on you may have to pull on the panel a little bit to free the clips (you may break a few of the clips, this is not a big deal they are very cheap and can be found at almost any parts store). once door panel is loose unplug the wiring harness's in the door, remove panel. it is fairly simple to un-bolt the old window motor, unplug it and place the new one in and plug it in. last replace your wiring and door panel
